Peel Police Polar Plunge raises more than $43,000

Close to 100 took the Peel Regional Police Polar Plunge to raise more than $43,000 for Special Olympics Ontario and the summer games that are being hosted, for the first time, here in Peel.

Plungers jumped into a pool of icy water Feb. 25 at the Peel Regional Police Association building on Mississauga Road in north Brampton.

Among the costumed participants was Brampton fire Chief Michael Clark, and Peel police Chief Jennifer Evans.
