Be Bold, Get Cold!
Take the Plunge!
The City of Waterloo holds an annual winter festival – Winterloo, and this year’s theme is “Winter Survival”
In support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, WRPS will hold a fundraising Polar Plunge event as part of the Winterloo Festival. As the name implies, a Polar Plunge is a winter fundraising event whereby individuals have the “honour” of jumping into a pool filled with icy water. They are able to participate by securing donations from friends, family members, co-workers, local business or their community in general.
This is a signature provincial event of the Law Enforcement Torch Run initiative benefiting Special Olympics Ontario (SOO).
Fundraising opportunity for registered SOO athletes and volunteers! 75% of your online fundraising will go to your club or community of choice. You MUST indicate the club or community you want your fundraising directed to when you register to ensure funds are allocated correctly.

There are two chances to plunge:
Saturday, January 26th – 1:00 – 3:00 PM
