Take the Plunge
The Polar Plunge, presented by the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run is a fun opportunity to support Special Olympics Ontario athletes by taking a flying leap – a leap into very cold water! Participants can pay $50 or fundraise $50 for the chance to jump into the icy water.
The plunge will take place Friday, March 9 at St Peter’s St Paul’s School at 190 John St., Durham.
The event runs from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with lots of fun activities for adults and kids alike!
Every Plunger will receive a FREE knit pom-pom toque!

RAISE $100 – Free Polar Plunge Sling Backpack AND Polar Plunge Stainless Steel Water Bottle
RAISE $500 – Name entered into Provincial Draw for two (2) 100-Level Blue Jays Tickets April 28th vs. Texas Rangers & 1 night accommodations at Strathcona Hotel
RAISE $1,000 – Name entered into Provincial Draw for two (2) tickets in the Maple Leafs Alumni Box March 26th vs. Buffalo with free food and drink & 1 night accommodations at Strathcona Hotel
Special Olympics Community Fundraising Opportunity
Are you a registered Special Olympics Athlete or Volunteer? Register for the Polar Plunge and start fundraising to receive 75% of your funds sent back to your local club! You must click the “I am a Registered Athlete/Volunteer” option during registration. You MUST fundraise online to be eligible.
